King Portland Centre

General Info

About the Project

Project Description

A true mixed-use project, the King Portland Centre assembles a complex, non-rectilinear block of disparate buildings and functions into a cohesive development.

KPC is comprised of a 13 storey office building and a 15 storey rental residential block in the heart of the densifying King West District. The project will seamlessly integrate renovated commercial buildings, 64,600 SF of renovated rowhouses, and existing interior lanes and courtyards with new buildings stepped back from the street.

Green terraces will be an amenity for the office workers and residents and pedestrian access will be encouraged between the spaces. The guiding principle is long-term sustainability, with a target of achieving a minimum of LEED Gold designation for the residential portion, and LEED Platinum for the office building.
