Project Description
This project involved designing an extensive high availability, communications infrastructure consisting of fault tolerant wired and wireless network access to sort equipment within this modern, state of the art facility.
The infrastructure consisted of over 2000 Category 5E UTP data and voice nodes and extensive IEEE 802.11b Wireless LAN access points all diversely engineered to separate fault tolerant computer rooms. High availability, high bandwidth network backbone was implemented using dual routed single mode and multimode fibre optic cabling. High availability fibre optic and copper campus infrastructure to a total of three campus buildings.
