About the Project

Project Description

Mulvey & Banani provided Tenant Interior services, Electrical Engineering, ICT Engineering, and Lighting Design for Index Exchange’s expansive new office at The Well in downtown Toronto. Spanning six floors (25 through 30) and totaling 108,800 square feet, the project involved creating a modern, functional workspace to support Index Exchange’s global advertising marketplace operations.

The office incorporates a variety of spaces designed to foster productivity and collaboration, including a reception area, boardroom, meeting rooms, collaboration zones, a medium-sized server room, LAN rooms, enclosed offices, and open office workstations. Mulvey & Banani’s engineering expertise ensured seamless integration of electrical and ICT systems to meet the complex technological requirements of the space.

The lighting design complemented the architectural vision by providing balanced, adaptable illumination tailored to the diverse needs of the office. Direct-indirect fixtures in open workstations minimized glare while enhancing comfort, and flexible lighting systems in meeting rooms supported a variety of uses. Collaboration areas featured dynamic lighting to create inviting, vibrant environments that encourage brainstorming and teamwork.

This project exemplifies the synergy of innovative design and advanced engineering, resulting in a versatile, efficient, and inspiring workspace that aligns with Index Exchange’s operational needs and organizational culture.
