Adam Airport

General Info

About the Project

Project Description

Adam Airport is an air base and a proposed domestic airport situated in the Adam wilayah of the Ad Dakhiliyah Region of Oman. The air base is 18 kilometers (11 miles) northwest of the town of Adam. Although the project was not completed, it was intended to link local areas while meeting growing demand from tourism, business, and neighboring communities. As design consultants, we were involved in the planning of this domestic airport, which was projected to handle 250,000 passengers annually. Mulvey & Banani designed a 4 km runway and developed comprehensive plans for the airport's infrastructure. This project exemplifies our dedication to innovative and effective airport design.
