Domenic is a visionary leader and mentor who is committed to the advancement of cutting-edge engineering solutions. Always looking to challenge the status quo, Domenic is passionate about pushing the boundaries of what is possible, with a relentless pursuit of innovation and a steadfast dedication to achieving excellence in all efforts at Mulvey & Banani.

Domenic's leadership style is characterized by a deep sense of purpose and a strong commitment to our team and clients. He understands that success is not just about achieving business goals, but also about building strong relationships and creating a culture of excellence that inspires and empowers our people to achieve their full potential.

His work on large, complex multi-stakeholder projects and the P3 project delivery model has been instrumental to the development of the firm’s profile in the healthcare, institutional, and transportation markets across the Toronto and provincial regions, and as well as nationally across Canada. Over the past 15 years in particular, Domenic has honed his expertise with overlapping electrical, critical power, communications, security, and audio-visual systems and their integration with building intelligence, shaping new industry benchmarks along the way.

Through his experience with alternative financing options, Domenic has gained valuable insights into the key factors that contribute to successful project delivery and stakeholder engagement. He is committed to continuing to explore and advocate for these models as part of his broader vision for progressive and socially responsible engineering.

An active member of the engineering community, Domenic is a member of CSA Z320 Building Commissioning Standard, Chair of the Electrical Technical Subcommittee and the CSA Z318/Z8001. Domenic became a Vice President of the firm in 2006, and President in 2019.

Outside of work, Domenic enjoys a range of activities from sports to family time. He transitioned from playing competitive sports in high school and university to participating in a variety of recreational sports leagues, most recently a softball league with family and friends. His love for sports extended to coaching his son's hockey teams for several years. Domenic has also been an enthusiastic participant in Road Hockey to Conquer Cancer for a decade. Apart from sports, he cherishes time spent traveling, enjoying diverse foods, and valuing quality time with family and friends as well as relaxing with his dog Cali reflecting his well-rounded and engaged approach to life.
