We are thrilled to announce this year's staff promotions, celebrating the outstanding achievements of our team members at Mulvey & Banani, and in collaboration with our subsidiaries - Mulvey & Banani Audio Visual and Mulvey & Banani Lighting. The dedication, innovation, and leadership of these individuals not only advance our projects but also define the trajectory of our business. Congratulations to each one of you on your well-deserved recognition

At Mulvey & Banani, our foundation is built on a deep commitment to learning, growth, and the power of meaningful collaboration. Recently, we hosted an enlightening discussion titled "Embracing Indigenous Values & Practices in Design." featuring the guest speaker Brian Porter, Principal Architect at Two Row Architect.

This conversation allowed us to explore the profound significance and integration of Indigenous values and practices in design. We took a look at how this approach fosters cultural understanding, generates economic benefits, and drives innovation in creating sustainable and inclusive spaces. Brian emphasized the profound connection between Indigenous wisdom, the land, and ancestral knowledge, enriching our designs with tradition and promoting the well-being of all those who interact with them.

"Here at Mulvey & Banani, we recognize the immense value that Indigenous values and practices bring to the world of design. Brian Porter's insights during our seminar were not only eye-opening, but they also reminded us of the importance of cultural understanding and sustainability in our work. By embracing these principles, we can create spaces that are not only innovative and inclusive, but also deeply rooted in tradition and respect for the land. We are grateful to have had the opportunity to learn from Brian and are excited to continue integrating these learnings into our future projects." - Domenic Bonavota, President of Mulvey & Banani

Together, we've worked on remarkable projects that serve as the perfect blend of innovation and tradition. Notable, the Thunder Bay Correctional Centre, a 345-bed, multi-purpose facility, is transforming living conditions, enhancing access to programming, boosting overall efficiency.

Thank you to Brian Porter for sharing your wisdom and leaving a lasting impact on our team.
