Shaili can expertly manage both small-scale community projects and large multi-stakeholder cultural facilties and P3 projects.
Shaili is MBII’s lead in education, cultural and sport facilities; her capabilities encompass electrical & building systems engineering, energy efficient lighting, integrated systems design, BIM/Revit and LEED Administration. Shaili regards projects like “offspring that are nurtured until grown up”, and she is especially proud of the longevity of projects: in most cases over 50 years. Shaili studied electrical engineering in India, joining MBII in 1998. She became a principal of the firm in 2011.
Shaili’s portfolio includes some of Canada’s most outstanding new museums and galleries, including the Canadian Museum for Human Rights, Winnipeg and the Remai Art Gallery of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon, both completed in BIM/Revit. Recently completed projects include Mohawk College’s Joyce Centre for Partnership & Innovation, Fennel Campus, Hamilton (a net zero building), and the Seneca College – King Campus Expansion, King City.
