Vaughan Civic Centre

Vaughan, Ontario

One of the largest civic buildings in Canada to achieve LEED Gold certification, Vaughan Civic Centre combines leading edge sustainability with the evolving needs of one of Canada’s fastest-growing cities.

The new Civic Centre is a leading example of Vaughan’s commitment to environmental stewardship.  The result of more than a decade of planning, the Civic Centre was Phase 1 of a 3-phase campus design that includes a public resource library, civic square, reflecting pool/skating rink, gardens and parkland.

The building is expected to realize a savings of 25 per cent in operational costs annually compared to the operating costs of a conventional building of the same size. LEED NC Gold Certified.
