Congratulations Within – New Appointments for 2021

At Mulvey & Banani, we believe that our success is because of our people, and that people are the most important part of our business. The following individuals have demonstrated excellent aptitude, initiative and leadership amongst their teams. This year, together with our subsidiaries, Mulvey & Banani Audio Visual (MBAV) and Mulvey & Banani Lighting (MBL) we are proud to announce some new, well deserved appointments:

 

 

 Liam Green, P. Eng., LEED Green Assoc., Associate

Liam is promoted to Associate at Mulvey & Banani. Since joining the company in 2012, this young man has been an integral part of a variety of project types from Mulvey & Banani’s Mission Critical and Office Towers. Over the past decade, Liam has developed special expertise in the urban mixed use and mission critical sectors, working on large scale projects, most notably: The Well, King Portland Centre, Queen Richmond Centre West Phase 1 & 2 and Bay Adelaide North Tower just to name a few. Liam is a Queen’s University graduate (Bachelor of Science, Electrical Engineering) and is passionate about green building principles and practices, providing thought leadership within this realm.
 

Osman Ahmad, P.Eng., Associate

Osman advances to Associate at Mulvey & Banani. With the company since 2016, Osman engineers customized ICT systems for office and retail environments for top Canadian banks, as well as private lending institutions, wealth management and law firms. Osman’s special expertise with robust and redundant ICT infrastructure for 24/7 operation is also applied to large scale data centre and casino projects. Osman is a graduate of Ryerson University’s Bachelor of Engineering program. Some of his most notable projects include the Gateway Casino projects (Wasaga, Kenora, North Bay, Hanover), numerous TD Bank corporate projects across Canada, RBC branch and corporate projects in Ontario, several FedEx projects in Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver, data center updates in the Equinix Data Center and Treasure Hill head office.
 

Alan McIntosh, B.A., IALD, MIES, Senior Associate

Alan is promoted to Senior Associate at Mulvey & Banani Lighting. Alan’s career sprung from studies in the dramatic arts and work in the theatre business in a multitude of technical roles including lighting and audio visual/multi-media direction, design and operation.  Alan excels in the execution of large scale, logistically complex initiatives and has been at the core of Mulvey & Banani Lighting’s most significant projects including Niagara Falls, Ripley’s Aquarium, the 50 story media façade for Lusail tower in Doha, the Bloor Fire benches, including all of their major bridges and dynamic installations.
Since joining the company in 2010, he has continually shown his creativity and dedication, more recently to growing Mulvey & Banani Lighting and mentoring its team members. His contributions continue to embed Mulvey & Banani Lighting as one of the best lighting design teams in the world.
